Strix EDGE ("we", "our", "the platform") provides a web-based trading intelligence service. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We are committed to collecting only what is necessary to operate the platform and never selling your personal information to third parties.
Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through Firebase Authentication. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google profile. We do not store passwords — authentication is handled entirely by Firebase.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage analytics to understand which scanners are most used, scan frequency, and feature adoption. This data is aggregated and cannot be traced to individual users.
Market Data: All market data (prices, volumes, funding rates, order books) is fetched directly from ByBit's public API to your browser. This data passes through ByBit's infrastructure, not ours. We do not store, log, or intercept market data.
What We Do NOT Collect: We do not collect wallet addresses, exchange API keys, trading history, portfolio data, financial information, or any data that could reveal your trading activity. The platform operates as an analytical tool — it reads public market data and displays analysis. It does not connect to your exchange account.
Your email address is used solely for account authentication, subscription management, and essential service communications (password resets, billing confirmations, critical platform notices). We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in. Anonymized usage data helps us prioritize feature development and identify performance issues.
Account data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure) with encryption at rest and in transit. Scan results and cached data are stored locally in your browser's memory — they are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. When you close the browser tab, cached scan results are deleted automatically.
Firebase (Google): Authentication and user account management. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
ByBit API: Public market data. API requests are made directly from your browser to ByBit's servers. We do not proxy, log, or store these requests.
Netlify: Website hosting. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) are retained for 30 days for security and performance monitoring.
We use localStorage to save your theme preference (light/dark mode). Firebase may set authentication cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes all associated data from Firebase. You can request a copy of your stored data by contacting us via Telegram. You can withdraw consent for any data processing by closing your account.
