What is Strix EDGE?

Strix EDGE is a multi-system trading intelligence platform that runs 15 independent analytical engines simultaneously across 1,100+ cryptocurrency pairs on ByBit. It combines momentum oscillators, volume analysis, market structure, pattern recognition, wave theory, and institutional flow detection into a single scanning interface. The core feature is Confluence Detection — surfacing only the pairs where 6+ independent methodologies agree on direction.

Where does the data come from?

All market data is sourced from ByBit's public v5 API. Kline OHLCV data for candlestick analysis, ticker data for market overview, order book depth for liquidity analysis, and funding rates for futures positioning. BTC/USDT price updates in real-time via WebSocket. No proprietary data feeds, no delayed data presented as live.

Do signals guarantee profits?

No. Strix EDGE is an analytical tool, not a trading bot. No signal — regardless of how many systems agree — guarantees a profitable trade. Cryptocurrency markets are subject to exogenous shocks that no technical analysis can predict. The confluence framework increases probability, not certainty. Position sizing, stop-losses, and risk management remain your responsibility.

What's the difference between Indicators and Scanners?

Indicators read numerical values from mathematical oscillators and classify them (RSI readings, MACD crossovers, divergence detection). Scanners detect geometric patterns and structural formations (Head & Shoulders, Wyckoff phases, Elliott Wave counts, market structure shifts). This separation ensures the two Confluence Engines combine genuinely independent analytical schools.

What is Confluence and why does it matter?

Confluence means multiple independent systems agreeing on the same direction for the same pair. A single RSI reading is noise. When RSI, Wyckoff, Elliott Wave, Chart Patterns, Market Structure, and FVG all point the same way — using completely different mathematics — the probability of a correct call increases significantly. Scanner Confluence requires 6 out of 7 systems to agree, which filters out 99%+ of the market.

How long does a scan take?

A full market scan (837+ pairs × 4 timeframes) takes 45-60 seconds. Results appear in real-time as each batch completes — you see signals as they're discovered, not after the scan finishes. Results are cached client-side, so switching between scanners restores previous results instantly within the refresh window.

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no lock-in. Cancel from Settings and access continues until the end of your billing period. The Free plan never expires and includes the Live Heatmap, Dashboard, Funding Alerts, and MTF Momentum scanner.

What timeframes are analyzed?

Every scanner runs across 4 timeframes simultaneously: 15-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, and Daily. Most scanners require signals to appear on 3-4 timeframes simultaneously before generating a signal. This cross-timeframe validation eliminates single-timeframe noise.
